What is the price of CoviSelf?

The name 'CoviSelf', the first Covid-19 home test kit, priced at ₹ 250, was developed by Mylab Discovery Solutions, Pune, and will hit the market in a few days.

The self-assessment kit can be used by any people with symptoms, or immediate contact of certified cases such as ICMR guidelines, and they can self-diagnose, isolate and receive immediate treatment.

How long does the test take?

It takes 2 minutes to test and 15 minutes high to get the result. Consent tests will take about five to seven minutes. The side effect will take about 15 minutes.

"As this eliminates the need for sample collection by a health care professional, it will significantly reduce the pressure on heavy laboratory labs, without reducing the delay of test results, which is more than 72 hours in other parts of the country," Rawal said.

How to use the CoviSelf COVID-19 home test kit:

ICMR said the procedure should be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's manual.

Each kit will be provided with all test material, IFU usage instructions, and a biohazard bag to dispose of it safely after testing. The test is designed to be performed using a nasal swab (not a deep nasopharyngeal swab) to reduce discomfort.

Rawal said each kit will have the necessary test kits, instructions for using the tract and a biohazard bag to dispose of it safely after testing. Tests were performed using a nasal swab compared to a deep nasabaryaryal swab to reduce user discomfort.

CoviSelf will provide the results in just 15 minutes, and each package has a different QR code to be entered along with the test result to get the report in the App.

Download mandatory mobile app test:

ICMR said the home screening app is available on Google Play store and Apple store and should be downloaded by all users.

The mobile app is a comprehensive guide to the testing process and will provide a positive or negative test result to the patient.

All users are advised to click on the test line image after completing the test process with the same phone used to download the mobile app and user registration.

“Your phone's application details will be captured in the middle of a secure server connected to the ICMR COVID-19 test portal, where all data will be stored in the end. The secret of patience will be fully preserved, ”the advice is emphasized.
