The pre-registration process for Android users has begun as Battlegrounds Mobile India and the Indian version of PUBG Mobile are likely to be launched in India in June. Many must wonder why there has been a change in name. Let's find out!

 

According to the BGR report, Krafton has announced Battlegrounds Mobile India, which will replace the previously announced PUBG Mobile India. The game developer is trying his best to avoid using the word PUBG to promote the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India game. While looking at the description of the Google Play Store listing, it seems Krafton has deliberately avoided using the word PUBG to promote the upcoming game. A recent report suggests that Krafton has also asked content creators to stop using the term PUBG Mobile while talking about Battlegrounds Mobile India. Developers have reportedly asked not to link PUBG Mobile with Battlegrounds Mobile India as it fears further restrictions.

 

Krafton takes into account all the concerns raised by the government and adds all the necessary features to the next Battlegrounds Mobile India game - from ratings under 18 to new user privacy and security guidelines. Krafton is set to host a number of changes to the next mobile game.

Fans of PUBG Mobile India, eagerly awaiting India's avatar - Battlefields of India, this is important news for you. Although the war game has been improved Krafton has already started pre-registration for Android users in the Google Play store, however, according to a recent review, the launch date for Battlegrounds Mobile India is nearing completion.

 

"We are in the process of finalizing the launch date, we will keep our fans informed," Karfton's official statement read.

While Krafton is yet to announce the launch date for Battlegrounds Mobile India, according to a report by IGN India, other industry sources said Krafton is looking at June 18 as the release date for the Battlegrounds Mobile India game.

 

Meanwhile, in some good news for PUBG Mobile India fans, after opening the pre-registration of Battlegrounds Mobile India game for Android users, Krafton who is the developer of PUBG mobile game is reportedly working on the launch of the iOS version.

According to reports, IGN India, suggests that sources close to the development have confirmed the version of Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS.

The report revealed that Krafton had recently acknowledged the need to bring the Battleground Mobile India game to Apple's ecosystem and said it would keep fans "informed of the future."

Pre-registration for Android users via the Google App Store opened on May 18, 2021.
